Keeping you up to date and informed with your safety at the VR Awards
Our move to digital platforms:
We’ve just released our press release for our exciting plans for 2020. Take a look by visiting https://aixr.org/press/articles/4th-international-vr-awards/
The Academy awards team has continued to monitor the current COVID-19 outbreak, and given expert advice, this years global celebration will make the move fully to the virtual realm.
This decision comes with much deliberation with our partners, the British Government, and advice from the World Health Organisation. Our priorities are to keep our attendees, staff and partners healthy and safe, and to ensure that the Academy doesn’t contribute to the spread of COVID-19.
The Academy team has been very well prepared for this eventuality, and will deliver on its reputation as the largest global celebration of outstanding achievement in VR. We plan to expand on the well known features you have come to associate with the VR Awards, and push the limit of what is possible with virtual events, creating something brand new, unique and truly memorable.
We’ve already announced sweeping plans to help guide and protect the immersive industry through turbulent times, and are proud to share with you our plan for a sustainable future alongside our health and safety guidelines
